In 2010 a full programme of artist talks, performances and panel discussions will be held over the Opening Weekend Friday 12 – Monday 15 March 2010.
In addition a programme of artist talks, guided tours and guest lectures will run throughout the Triennial at all exhibition venues. The Auckland Art Gallery will run regular Sunday talks at 1pm and 3pm during the Triennial months.
New to the 4th Auckland Triennial will be a Finessage Symposium and keynote lecture during the final month of the Triennial season, Friday 21 May 6pm, Saturday 22 – Sunday 23 May 2010.

In 2010 we have introduced a Finessage Symposium in the closing month of the Triennial. This includes a series of presentations, dialogues and panels on the theme of the Triennial, exhibition making, and the role of criticism in reflecting on art events. The Finessage Symposium will also include a second keynote speaker and a partnership with the Biennale of Sydney speakers week in late May.

The 4th Auckland Triennial Last Ride in a Hot Air Balloon will appeal to students of all ages. Group visits should be booked in advance with each venue.
