Auckland Festival, AK07 is the must-attend international arts festival for 2007. The festival includes more than 60 events with music, dance, theatre, cabaret, a free outdoor music and film season and a visual arts programme, aimed at encouraging everyone to enjoy a diverse range of arts and culture from Auckland, the Pacific and beyond.

Auckland Festival, AK07’s Visual Arts Programme showcases a selection of some of the best local and international contemporary visual art and further shares something about who we are and the forces which jostle beneath the surface of this apparently idyllic island. turbulence: the 3rd Auckland Triennial, as the key visual arts event for Auckland Festival, AK07, leads a string of exhibitions which touch upon this thematic framework. Others include Urban Pacific, Restless, Mirror Worlds, Wonder-land and Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?

On Saturday 17 March be transported to over fifteen of Auckland's public and dealer art galleries as part of the Auckland Festival, AK07 programme. Proudly supported by Stagecoach and Art News magazine, THE ART LINK will run on a continuous loop from 10 - 6pm allowing visitors to determine their own schedule and select events and exhibitions of specific interest.

Participating galleries include Sue Crockford Gallery, Vavasour Godkin Gallery, Anna Miles Gallery, ARTSPACE, Ivan Anthony Gallery, Michael Lett, Starkwhite, Objectspace, Two Rooms, Roger Williams Contemporary, Jensen Gallery, ST PAUL ST, Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tamaki, Gow Langsford Gallery, FHE Galleries and The Gus Fisher Gallery.

THE ART LINK will visit venues hosting turbulence: the 3rd Auckland Triennial.
